Tennis. A game that is synchronous with hard work, skill, ambition and sheer willpower. The simple fact that the game is never over until the match point is won is what motivates me to keep working towards my ambitions tirelessly and never give up. With a great amount of physical as well as mental toughness, you have to break at least one serve of the opponent to win the set. Proving myself better than others is what drives me and keeps me on my toes.
One such challenge has been learning finance from scratch as an engineer. At first, it was very challenging to learn a completely new concept. But I kept at it hoping eventually I will understand. And I did. As I kept working, I started to understand concepts as good as the concepts I had learned technical definitions in engineering. My ability to keep calm in any situation helped me tackle all the challenges that I faced during preparation. Making sure one took one step at a time, learning one concept at a time, I reached most of my weekly targets.
Whenever I face a problem, first, I make sure to understand it thoroughly. Then I draw out steps in my mind or written, on how to approach the problem. After deciding the most suitable way to go forward, I take account of the situation I might face to adapt accordingly. With space for mistake, I quickly learn from them and complete the task at hand in the most optimal way.
