The season witnessed participation from 180 companies including 30+ first-time recruiters collectively rolling out offers to 572 participants. The placements season saw an increase in the average salary offered to the batch and the highest salary at 49 lakhs. Top participating recruiters included the MBB consulting firms, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, American Express, AB InBev, L'Oreal, BMW, Amazon, Walmart, PayTM, and Hindustan Unilever amongst others. IIM Indore witnessed first time participation from Accenture Strategy, Amway, BMW, CityMall, Eversana, Garena, Grasim Paints, Jio Platforms, Lincoln International, Navi, OfBusiness, Samsung, Tata Capital, Times Internet, Titan, TVS Motor Company, Udaan while other leading multinational finance recruiters like American Express, Credit Suisse, D.E. Shaw, Diageo, HDFC, HSBC, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Morgan Stanley, Nomura, Piramal, StateStreet continued to recruit from the institute.
Consulting emerged to be the top domain with Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers recruiting in increasing numbers. New recruiters in the Consulting domain included Accenture Strategy, Eversana, Redseer Consulting. Other legacy recruiters like Avalon Consulting, Bain & Co, Everest Group, McKinsey &Co., Synergy Consulting, Thoucentric Consulting, Vector Consulting continued to engage with IIM Indore.
Udaan recruited for its General Management role for the very first time, as did other regular General Management domain recruiters like Biocon, Capgemini ELITE, Garena, Jindal Steel and Power, Kotak Mahindra Bank, OfBusiness, OYO, Reliance Industries Limited, Times Internet.
Deutsche bank, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase & Co. continued to recruit for a multitude of roles that included Investment Banking, Equity Research, Risk Management & Corporate Treasury among others
Sales & Marketing continued to be among the top domains, with leading FMCG brands like Asian Paints, Diageo, HUL, and FMCE brands like Samsung and Xiaomi continuing to recruit in large numbers. At the same time, first-time recruiters included PharmEasy, Relaxo, Vedanta, Whatfix, and Zetwerk.
The auto sector increased their hiring with new and regular recruiters like BMW, Bajaj Auto, CarDekho, Hero Motocorp, TVS Motor company . The pharma & healthcare sector remained strong with Dr. Lal PathLabs, Phable Care, PharmEasy participating for the first time while firms like Cipla, United Health Group(Optum) continued to recruit.
IIM Indore witnessed participation from Amazon, CityMall, OfBusiness, Shopee in the E-commerce sector.
The seventh batch of the 5-year Masters of Business Administration- Dual Degree (formerly IPM) that appeared for final placements along with the PGP batch attracted high levels of enthusiasm and interest from recruiters. Some of the leading recruiters included Avalon Consulting, Bajaj Auto, CRISIL, D.E. Shaw, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, PricewaterhouseCoopers among others.
