The trust in the name of IIM Trichy can be seen in the Corporate too. IIM Trichy was ranked 15 by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2016-17 published by Ministry of Human Resource Development and it has one of the highest scores under the perception column. In just 7 years of its establishment, IIM Trichy has come out as one of the fastest growing institutes and is considered amongst the top B-schools in the country. The success of our Institute lies in the dedication and diligence shown by the administration, faculty and students in making IIM Trichy a trusted brand.
The strength of our college can be easily seen in the various corporate and academic competitions won by the students. The college aims to create future business leaders who will contribute towards a positive change in the society. The constantly enhanced and augmented curriculum here keeps the students at par with the industry demand.
Finally, the most important thing that makes us unique are the values that our institute withholds. A glimpse of this could be found in our mission - “To nurture a learning environment, for the creation and dissemination of management knowledge by integrating global standards to develop leaders of enterprises who add value to society, and to be a partner in nation building” and our logo which represents the idea of “Celebration of Learning ”. Our logo represents a human form with out-stretched arms signalling the spirit of achievement and fulfilment. The orange colour captures the vibrancy of the institute’s culture while the subtle shape of the Blue between the arms also indicates a flame - a traditionally recognized symbol of education. The logo design combines tradition with a contemporary touch. IIM Trichy as the base unit forms the foundation for that learning and growth. The complete edifice of knowledge and values makes us stand out from others.
Which ABG company would you want to work for and why?
I would like to work for “Aditya Birla fashion and retail limited”, as it is India’s leading fashion industry. It will provide me with a great opportunity to contribute with my skills and learn from the experience of best leaders in the industry. My diligence and dedication towards my work along with the exposure at ABFRL would help me develop a more practical and efficient view point while tackling new challenges, which would direct me to lead the organization to new heights.
