Aditya Birla group is one of the largest conglomerates in the country and holds a very important place in my life. Aditya Birla sunlife AMC pvt. Ltd, Mumbai is the company in which my sister is currently employed and she has been with the Aditya Birla group for more than 2 years now and was recently awarded for being an excellent performer in her field of work. Aditya Birla group was the first company in which she got employed after her MBA and has climbed up the ranks in the organization in a very short span of time all because of her hardwork and dedication.
Aditya Birla group also owns multiple clothing brands and one such brand, Peter England came to my rescue at the very beginning of my MBA journey. MBA students have to attend a lot of business conclaves and need to be properly dressed for it. I too had to attend a business conclave in my college Xavier Institute of management, Bhubaneswar but I did not have proper business formals. Nowhere in Bhubaneswar, I was able to find proper business formals which met my requirements. Peter England was the only place where I was able to find the clothes of my requirements and that too at a much cheaper price as compared to others. Not only me , but most of my batch mates also purchased the clothing from the same store. Therefore , Aditya Birla group has played an important part in both my personal and professional life and has helped me create memories which I will always cherish .
One of the biggest achievements of my life is that I am a student of Xavier Institute Of Management , Bhubaneswar which is one of the top B-schools of the country. But the journey was not easy, because better the institute, the harder it is to be part of it.
I first appeared for management exams in 2017 but was not able to perform according to my expectations. So I decided to invest another year after my graduation for preparing for a B-school which I deserve and because I didn’t want to settle for anything less. It is always difficult to start but with passage of time, things started to fall in place and I started enjoying my preparations. I was able to work on my weaknesses and build on my strengths. Over a period of time, I was able to improve my scores and started to gain confidence in my abilities which was the most important thing which I lacked earlier.
Finally my hard work and dedication paid off and I scored very well in all my management entrance exams . I also made sure that my preparations was not limited in any way as I wanted to gain a overall knowledge about everything going around me and this particular aspect of my preparations helped me crack group discussions and personal interview rounds of almost every college in which I applied.
But XIMB was the best options available to me and I was very happy after converting XIMB because a year long hard work finally paid off and I got what I deserved.
