Part A:

I was 10 when my father announced that we are going to start the construction of our new home. Everyone was thrilled with the news. My father was very specific with the material used in building the house as it was a one time investment and a decision that had to withstand the changing course of time be it rain, pressure or any other natural calamity. One of the important areas in any plan is the root that holds it and for a house it is the construction. One of the major decision was to select the cement brand to use and my father along with the engineers had a clear choice, UltraTech Cement. They believed in the quality and durability and had a long time trust on the brand. UltraTech, without any doubt has played a significant role in the lives of many indians, including mine. I remember, one rainy season there was heavy rainfall for days and everyone feared about the water on the road, the diseases it will bring, the halt in daily activities but no one feared for the house as everyone was assured that whatever happens our home will withstand this and many more heavy rainfalls to come. UltraTech has provided us the sense of safety, sense of strength and sense of trust and has never compromised on its quality which is why it has been my family's and many other indian family's first choice be it for house, corporate offices or any other building that people build to fulfill their dreams.

Part B:

My life has been pretty smooth since childhood. I went to a good school, had good education, was blessed with good friends, so, in early years of my life I didn't face much difficulties. The first major difficulty I faced was when I was not able to clear the engineering entrance exam after twelfth but then people around me supported me in that phase, so, I didn't face much difficulty then. The biggest challenge I faced was in third year of my graduation, not only me, my whole family was affected by that because of which my family members were not in right state of mind emotionally. I had my final exams coming up and along with that I was struggling with loss, the challenge was to prioritize the events, to forget the past and focus on the present. I started by taking baby steps, initially I focused on my family members then I started devoting time to my studies no matter how difficult they may be, slowly, I was able to maintain the balance and on the day of exam I performed well and scored a pretty good cgpa in that semester. I realized that I was capable of working well under pressure and in maintaining a balance between emotional and logical state of mind. I realized I had the strength of supporting people when they are low, even in a situation when I was myself not emotionally sound. This incident impacted me greatly.
