ABG touches millions in the world. It is unlikely that one has never used a product, or travelled on a road or visited a site where ABG has not contributed in some way. Its presence in one's life is massive. Aditya Birla Group has been a very important part of my life. To do good in the world and for the world is the most important part for every individual's life For over 50 years now, the Aditya Birla Group has engaged in impactful, welfare-driven activities in India and globally. The Aditya Birla Group works in 5,000 villages, reaching out to 7.5 million people annually. Over 60 per cent of these people live below the poverty line and belong to marginalised and vulnerable sections of society. While I was in the last phase of my graduation, I got interested in the area of management. I knew this is what I wanted to do in my life. My main aim has always been to help people, animals, country in any way that I can and I assumed that going for an MBA would help me achieve that as I will get to learn a lot. I started preparing after graduating and I gave the entrance exams, but unfortunately I could not get through. It was the first setback I ever received in life. I felt like I was going deep in a whole as everyone around me was moving forward in their lives, travelling, working but I was stuck in the same place with not even relevant work experience. Although it was difficult initially, I learned to accept that I can get through it and come out stronger as I have always believed in the notion that everything happens for a reason and it always drives you to work hard and move forward. So I pushed myself to do beyond my limits, to find positivity in all the things that life throws at me. It actually saved my life. I gave the exams again and cracked nearly all of them and got to one of the best management institutes of the country which, along with helping me gain academic and general knowledge, teaches me to keep pushing myself harder and working to achieve all my goals every single day. It reminds me to be grateful for all the things in the life and all people around me.

That is how I rose in life, gaining a lot of experience, not through work but from learning things every day and believing that I can do everything I set my mind to and I came out successful against all odds and hopefully I can do it for the rest of my life. This is what it  means to me, to always keep trying and giving your best shot regardless of the outcome and the tedious process you have to go through.
