PART A (ABOUT ADITYA BIRLA GROUP AND IT'S ROLE ON MY LIFE)

Aditya Birla Group is a conglomerate of so many prevalent brands in India and worldwide. Some of the major brands include UltraTech Cement, Peter England, Idea and many others. Aditya Birla Group product-line includes the manufacturing of -

  Cement - It has seven plants, with the cumulative capacity of 5.8 million tons. After completion of the ongoing expansion projects,production capacity will increase to 7 million tons. It owns brands like Khajurao, Chetak, Samrat and Birla Cement.

  Jute goods -It produces 120 tonnes of a varied jute products like Jute yarn, Floor & Wall Covering,Lino Hessian, Decorative fabrics,Nursery cloth, Scrim, Jute Carpets, Non-Woven Jute Felt, Hydro-Carbon Free bags/cloth, D.W. Canvas, Carpet Backing cloth, Hessian cloth/bags and Sacking bags/cloth.

  PVC floor covering - The Vinoleum capacity runs to 48,60,000 sq meters of Cushion Vinyl and PVC sheets.

   Auto trims (jute felt-based car interiors)- It offers door trims, interior trims, package trays,felt, carpet and insulators for all most all major car makers of India.

CONNECTED WITH MY LIFE

I prefer buying Peter England clothes because they not just very comfortable, but also because Peter England has decent collection of clothes. I am always satisfied with my choice of buying my clothes from Peter England.

I have recently build my home and we used UltraTech cement during the construction of the house.

I and my father always prefer Van Heusen when it comes to buying formal wear because Van Heusen has nice stuff and also high class status attached to it.

PART-B (HOW I OVERCAME MY BIGGEST CHALLENGE)

It was 15 October 2018 when I made my plan to go for MBA and when I approached MBA entrance coaching institutes, they said it was very late and  suggested me to leave CAT 2018 and focus on CAT 2019 because by that time, students had finished their entire course and were giving mocks. I could not think of waiting an year for getting into a b-school and achieve my goal of becoming a marketing manager. So, I decided to give CAT 2018 itself and start preparing with all devotion and commitment on my own. I bought second hand books of the same institute from OLX and made some daily and weekly achievable targets. I was determined to crack CAT exam and for that, I was ready to give away everything. I compromised on every occasion, I did not celebrated Diwali ,my birthday or any other occasion. I used to check up my targets if I achieved them or not, I had no regulating authority over me, I was just committed to myself and that made me more focussed because I had to give myself an answer for the shortfall. I gave enough tests to measure my performance  and then, the test day came. I gave my best shot with all presence of mind, and when the results arrived after 2 months, I was extremely happy to see 95.48 percentile in CAT which was a very good score in comparison to students who studied 1-2 years for cracking this exam.  I managed to get a decent number of calls from various IIM’S, IMT among other big colleges. I prepared hard to give my best foot forward in the further rounds of selection process and finally, made it to IMT Ghaziabad that is often called Mecca of Marketing.
