Throughout my life, I have focused on becoming the best version of myself. I have tried to move out of my comfort zone in order to experience and gain expertise in fields and domains that were completely unaware to me. I believed that in this way, I would also be able to discover some talents that I had in me, which I would not have identified otherwise.

The first turning point of my life came when I completed my matriculation and joined a CBSE school for higher secondary school education. It was highly unorthodox at that time that a student would join a CBSE school after completing matriculation in state syllabus. I was advised by my distant family members, teachers and friends not to do so since CBSE syllabus was perceived to be tougher than state syllabus.

However, with the support of parents, I joined CBSE school. Initially, it was extremely difficult for me to cope with the studies, primarily due to my poor language skills. But I decided to work hard. I studied harder, day in and day out to familiarize with the academics. I followed a strict regimen in my life and disciplined myself towards my final goal, proving myself and others what I am worthy of.

Finally, after the AISSCE, I came out to be the topper in the science stream from my school. I was rejoiced by the achievement. But there were still miles to cover. I joined as a student in mechanical engineering in one of the best engineering colleges in Kerala. From there, I got placed in one of the leading FMCG MNCs in India as a production executive.

The experience in the company was enriching as well as exciting. But still, there was an inner voice that was consistently telling me not to get satiated. It was reminding me to pursue a higher goal in life. Accordingly, I decided to take PGDM from a reputed B school in India. I started preparing for CAT. I had to manage almost 10 hrs of work as a shift production executive along with my studies. I kept trying and finally, I was able to get into one of the best B school in India.

I am still listening to that inner voice, the spark that drives me, the spark that sustains.
