The Aditya Birla Group corporate logo – Aditya, which represents the rising sun, is a distinctive visual, one that symbolizes the vision of the company, an image embedded in our memories since childhood. This visual can be seen all around us, in multiple industries and businesses.

Even before India got independence, the group made ways into the lives of the people, starting with textile mills which later became what is today known as Grasim. The foundation of Hindalco Industries Limited in 1958 by the Birla empire, made the group one of the biggest producers of primary aluminum in Asia.

To say that the group is big in my life would be a gross understatement, it is massive!

Since childhood, every summer we undertook a long journey, travelling by Indian Railways, one of the largest consumers of Birla Copper. As the train departed on its journey, I would stick to the window, passing by the huge electricity lines, fitted with huge insulators, perhaps made by Grasim Industries; the buildings with UltraTech written all over them; lush green fields stretching thousands of miles, potentially using 'Birla Shaktiman', hybrid seeds and other Indo Gulf agri-solution products. Our trusted mobile phone, the only one in family, would connect us to everyone, even during the journey, all thanks to Idea!

Twenty years later, Aditya Birla Group still finds place in my life, every day. From the aluminum glass cover of my smartphone, to the apparels from Pantaloons; from the humble Freshwrap foil wrapped sandwich, to the Mutual Fund investments through Aditya Birla Sun Life. Not to forget the so many ways the group touches our lives without us realizing. One such example, the group being the largest black carbon manufacturers, making our tyres safer.

This is how Aditya Birla Group is ubiquitous in my life in Big way.
