It has strove hard and with innovation to achieve national and global leadership in its operational sectors.
Aditya Birla Group has been associated to me since my kindergarten days when my mother used to wrap up my tiffin with so much of care, and love so that the food remains hot with Hindalco’s Freshwrapp Aluminium Foil and Packaging. Aditya Birla Group has been part of my life in every way possible, like when my grandfather constructed the extend part of our house, I as a kid remember seeing sacks of UltraTech Cement on our veranda. I even remember my grandfather saying that he is going to build a strong house for us with the UltraTech Cement. Well, it is needless to say that Pantaloons, Liva, Planet Fashion, Forever 21 have the fondest memories attached to them, going shopping with my mother, spending the entire day trying all the sleek, chic and affordable fashion, then buying loads of them, and then flaunting them all the way. Aditya Birla Group’s Van Heusen and Allen Solly became my life saviour when I got admission to my dream B-School and I had to buy my first professional business suit, shirts, belts and more. The brands were an absolute fit for me in every possible way, they were a sense of pride and humility at the same time.
Aditya Birla Group has stood as a support for me in all my times, whatever I need I can rush to their brand stores and get it. They were there for every occasion in my life be in grandfather’s house, mom’s tiffin, family occasions, business days, and more. For Aditya Birla Group, I think I have one feeling all my life that is: Greatness and Gratitude.
Challenges and Obstacles and Overcoming them
What is life without some challenges? I will tell you, it's monotonous. Challenges and obstacles can both be seen as a boon or a curse. It depends on how you perceive it. Well we all have been facing challenges from the day we are born, be it struggling to eat, struggling to sleep, going to school for the first time and more. And we all have been overcoming them in one or the other way. So, what makes the challenges and obstacles different and unique every time. I think it is the growth and learning that comes with it makes its new every time.
Obstacles have been keenly interested in my life over the past couple of years. The professional challenges of getting grades and expanding the horizon to learn new skills have always been persistent in the backdrop, but the personal challenges were very new to me. I had never known what it is to lose a person, and then deal with it. I lost my beloved grandparents just before my final year college exams and my MBA School entrance exams. The time was heart wrenching, I couldn’t focus anymore on any of my professional challenges. Then after a few weeks had gone by, it struck me that my grandparents would never had wanted me to lose focus and be so dejected. So, for them I pulled up my socks, controlled my emotions and employed them in a better way in my professional challenges. I wanted to make them proud. I worked hard, reminisced them every day and the results were amusing. I had got admission to my dream B-School, the B-school my grandfather had always wanted me to get into.
I could overcome these challenges because of the values and willpower my family had empowered into me. It was my grandparents blessing to provide me with the strength to bear the loss and void that was created when they left. They will always be cherished.
