The Aditya Birla Group is one of the largest conglomerates in the world. From cement to fashion, ABG has gained a foothold in numerous industries throughout the world. Millions of people have purchased ABG’s products/services and are more than satisfied after consumption. I, myself, not being an exception, have been impacted by ABG’s products.
I have, first hand, experienced the superior quality of ABG’s cement. In early 2019, my father had a 2 canal house constructed where Ultratech Cement (a subsidiary of ABGwhich was acquired from L&T in 2004) was used to lay downthe foundation of the house. I have also taken a life insurance cover from ABG. A very prominent contribution of ABG in my life would be their clothing retail business. I have, on several occasions, bought branded clothing from ABG’s retail outlets. The brands include Louis Phillip, Peter England and many more. Myself being a post graduate student, feel that above all else, ABG’s telecom services have impacted me the most. Idea telecom has provided connectivity to countless people in India and is a prime example of what a Joint Venture of Corporate giants (AT&T, ABG and TATA Group) is truly capable of.
Unquestionably, the Aditya Birla Group has had massive impact upon many industries of the globe. With a long history of over a century of successful endeavours, ABG continues to stand tall and rise as a global conglomerate leader, setting remarkable examples and achieving milestones that no other firm has ever even dreamed of. This tale certainly demonstrates hard work, persistence and innovation; qualities that are essential for young leaders of today’s world.
ABG has inspired people across the world to reach new heights and overcome challenges. Like many others, I have overcome my fair share of challenges in life so far.
I have successfully managed to author a novel and also managed to publish it in September, 2018 by the name, The Bloodline Curse. This has, by far, been my biggest achievement in life as this is a challenge which is different from academic achievements. Writing a novel took me over 6 months of persistence and patience. Conjuring up a story and penning it down in an interesting and legible manner is certainly not a walk in the park. It was also something I committed to of my own accord and hence, received next to no guidance as to how to even go about it.
Apart from this, I have lived in multiple cities across my schooling days due to my father’s occupational transfers. Having to shift locations frequently and having to adjust to new locations is something which requires strong emotional control. With assistance and reassurance from my parents that everything will be fine and that change is good and necessary in life, I was able to adapt to new locations and adapt to new cultures and people. Today, I have friends spread across Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and also in Mumbai.
My achievements may not appear to be much upon an initial review. However, these achievements are examples of values that are important to possess and attain in order to achieve success not only in the corporate world but in any discipline in life, be it forging friendships, relationships or seeing your works through to the finish. Values like persistence, ambition and adaptability are some of the traits I utilised in order to overcome many hurdles in my life, just like ABG has done throughout its corporate life.
