Aditya Birla Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate operating in more than 35 countries, has impacted the lives of many people all around the world. Be it textiles, trading, financial services, telecom, or any other industry, the Aditya Birla group has made sure that it creates a positive impact in each one of them. Even personally, Aditya Birla group had a continuous positive impact upon my life.

I come from a small rural place in Karnataka. Getting a proper mobile network was a big problem at my home. The only two mobile networks that were performing well were Vodafone-Idea and Bsnl. But the only one to provide a 4G network was Vodafone-Idea. I am very much thankful for the Aditya Birla group to connect me to the outside world through their 4G internet service. It did bring smiles upon my family and me when we did video calls and watched movies online together.

During my Engineering days, I was required to wear formals for various events at college. Wearing formals having a perfect fit boosts your confidence a lot. The obvious first choice was Peter England. It became effortless to purchase formal wears with a wide variety of options. For different cultural occasions at the college, The Linen Club had all the answers. And whenever there was a need to go shopping, Pantaloons and People had a wide range of varieties to offer. These are just some of the ways Aditya Birla Group has impacted my life. On a larger scale, it has impacted millions of lives. Taking inspiration from them, I wish I could be able to make a positive impact on many people’s lives someday.

Challenges are a part and parcel of everyone's lives. No matter the amount of comfort that we get, we face many challenges on a personal level. I, too, have faced many challenges on a personal level. One of the biggest challenges for me was to move to a city like Bangalore for under graduation. I was from a rural background, and I was not familiar with the busy culture of the metropolitan city. I never had a habit of communicating in English, I had never used social media before, and it had a lot of differences from the culture I grew in. Initially, it was tough to make friends, communicate effectively, and adjust to the new culture. These challenges grew mentally upon me, and I started feeling demotivated. I realized soon enough that I needed to get back up and turn my life around. With the support of my parents, teachers, and friends, I was able to overcome these challenges.

Later on, into my college, I was part of various college events. I was one of the core members in organizing the annual college fest. I made a lot of good friends. I participated and won in many competitions. I had two great learnings from my entire undergraduate journey. Firstly, when you feel low, all you need to do is ask for help, and you will get it. Secondly, no matter how hard it is at the start of your journey, if you remain persistent, calm and have faith in what you do, you will inevitably end your journey with a lot more positives and achievements than those you initially dreamt.
