IIM Kashipur also known as IIM in the North was the first of the new IIMs to shift in its new Campus which is 200 Acres in Area. There are a number of things that make it unique. Some of them are as follows:

• Location: Most of the management institutes are located somewhere away from the Industry but that is not the thing with IIM Kashipur. Our campus is strategically located in the central hub of about 200 industries such as TATA Motors, Bajaj, Ashok Leyland, and lots more those are located in the Kashipur-Rudrapur Industrial Belt.  The Locational Advantage helps IIM Kashipur in many ways. Apart from Excellent Placements, the students here can gain lots from the number of guest lectures and live projects. Apart from The Industrial advantage, the location is also good for nature lovers as IIM Kashipur is located in the foothills of Himalayas and is just 30 kilometers away from Corbett National Park and there are number of hill stations within 100 kilometers of radius.
• Infrastructure: IIM Kashipur has a beautiful campus of 200 Acres of Area. It provides single Occupancy Hostels with radiant cooling which is a unique feature of IIM Kashipur.  One can relax and enjoy the privacy in these rooms after long classes, frequent competitions and extra-curriculars.  We have got really wonderful classrooms with dual projectors with three sets of dual green boards.  The block red structures of IIM Kashipur, the long round curves, and the extravagant green are something that an understudy will keep with himself for all circumstances to come. I want to work for Ultratech Cement as an operational manager because I come from a Construction background and thus have basic knowledge about the logistics of Construction Materials. Also I am interested in Operations and I believe that Ultratech Cement being the global leader and Industry pioneer in Cement Production would provide me lots of opportunities to show and develop my skills in the operation domain and I would be able to make use of the knowledge and skills that I acquired during my graduation, internship and job as well.
