The presence of salt is not felt, but its absence makes things tasteless. Such is the impact that Aditya Birla Group has played in my life. It has added a flavour to my life, since my childhood and still continues to do so. Aditya Birla groups made its entry in my life, when my family brought our first house, through UltraTech cement Ltd. Ever since it has come in various forms ranging from the aluminium foils via Indian Aluminium Company Ltd, that my mother used when she packed my food to keep it warm, to the tyres I used to pump air for my first bicycle which was a product from Birla Carbon. My college days during my engineering involved late-night studies which often resulted in late-night food cravings and yet once again ABG came to my rescue though More – the hypermart which was owned by them. A regular visit was not only encompassed with food purchases but also involved daily necessities including soap, towels, books and everything else a student, as well as an average person, could ask for. After the successful completion of my studies, when I landed my first job, I decided to invest a part of my money in mutual funds and one of the suggestions provided by Scripbox Ltd was none other than Birla Sun life. Right from my first house to my working days, ABG left an untold presence which I have come to realise now.
Even before entering my college for my MBA, the first formal dress that I wore, came from Van Heusen – A division of Aditya Birla Fashion and Lifestyle. I can, thus, say this with confidence that ABG will continue supporting and helping me in ways unknown in the future, as it has done until now.
