" Do one thing every day that scares you" - Eleanor Roosevelt. As easy it seems, a hundred times more difficult it is to practice. I faced this situation when I decided to overcome my fear of heights. My friends decided to paraglide in Manali and forced me to come along with them. I agreed to accompany them, but I straight away rejected the idea of paragliding. When we reached the location, I saw a lot of people getting ready for the adventure, and I couldn't see myself being a part of it. But then started the process of convincing me. All of my friends began motivating me, encouraging me, and making me believe that I'll be missing out on a lot if I don't do it. After continuous attempts of convincing me with arguments like "You'll be alright like the rest of them," I finally gathered the courage to give it a shot. I decided to take the leap of faith. While wearing the protective gear I was thinking that maybe it is one of the worst decisions I had ever  taken. After paragliding and landing on the ground, I believed that it is one of the best decisions I had taken so far. Those moments are memorable and have had a great impact on my life.

Why Aditya Birla group is big in my life:

Aditya Birla group has had it's presence in India for more than 160 years now. For such a big and vast conglomerate, it is only understandable that it has had an impact on everyone's life. And so it has in mine.

There are always some things which people prefer over others. Things which people find closer to the heart compared to others. For me, it is a white, Louis Philippe shirt which I bought four years ago.

I consider that shirt to be lucky for me and it holds a special place. It is a confidence booster on a challenging day. It all started when I wore this shirt for the first time when I appeared for an interview. It goes without saying that I was able to convert the interview. Also, the next one with this same shirt. But only achieving success with this shirt was not going to make it unique. Facing failure in a similar kind of a situation, without it, made it valuable. That is when people start relating their success with the physical environment around them. I did the same. The shirt became a lucky charm for me. It helped me begin a stressful, important day on a high note. It seemed to have it's own positive vibe which would encourage me to strive. I started wearing this shirt to all the significant events in my life, events which mattered the most. I realize it's more of a psychological effect, but at the same time, it has a positive impact on me. It charges me with a positive attitude, makes me ready to face 'THE' day, and come out of it with a smile. It is indeed special for me.
