Established in 1981, K J Somaiya Institute of Management is a private autonomous business school under Somaiya Vidyavihar Mumbai University. Financial Aid will be awarded to the selected applicants in the range of 10% to 80% of the tuition fees based on the evaluation process. Financial Aid awarded will be applicable for the entire duration of the programme.

Merit-Based Scholarship:
Merit-based scholarships are offered to candidates who have demonstrated academic excellence with other significant achievements in sports, arts, community service, or any other achievement as evidence of the student’s outstanding capability.

Number of scholarships: 5 (100% Tuition fee waiver)

Eligibility:
● Students must be a resident of India and below 30 years of age.
● Students must have an excellent academic record (10th, 12th and graduation) and a good score in qualifying examinations.

1. CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ NMAT/ CMAT:
○ Appear for CAT 2024 / XAT2025 / GMAT / NMAT / CMAT 2025
○ NMAT only first attempt will be considered
○ GMAT score valid from 1st January, 2022 to 20th January, 2025

Eligibility Criteria: Students pursuing or having completed a minimum of a three-year graduate programme in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from any University recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/AICTE are eligible for Post Graduate Studies in Management. Students applying for their final exams in April-May 2025 can also apply. However, they should produce documentary evidence of having passed the graduation examination with minimum aggregate marks as specified above, on or before 31 August 2025, failing which the student will forfeit the admission. The student must have completed the graduation examination process before joining the institute.

Apart from the MBA programme, the MBA-Healthcare Management and MBA-Sports Management - K J Somaiya Institute of Management offers various PG level Programmes, such as MBA Executive, and MCA programme in Management.
MBA(No. of Seats- 600 + Supernumerary Seats):
The two-year, full-time MBA programme allows students the unique opportunity to pursue both a Major and a Minor. In the first year, the Programmes offered will strengthen the foundation i.e., business fundamentals. In the second year, the student will have an option to choose one of the 5 Majors.
