Aditya Birla Group is all around me!!!
My day starts in the morning with a dependence on minimum basic needs to actuate the daily routine activities. Since my childhood, I have been living in houses made up of steel and cement. These composed structures have provided shelter to many of us. The next basic amenity which is also equally important is the clothes we wear to cover and protect ourselves from the changing climate. I remember one special item from my school days, it was the cycle I used to ride every day to make my way from home to school. The shining, lustrous and attractive cycle I had was the starting checkpoint for my dreams to start, I made friends for life, traveled across the streets and enjoyed the company of joy. All these utilities mentioned above were made available by a futuristic organization around me.
Aditya Birla Group made the first impression in my life at the age of 6 with the introduction of Ultra tech cement. That was during the month of summers, I was asked to check the unloading of the cement bags from the tractor. I remembered the name in the first stance. I tried to ask my family members about the name of yellow-colored bags, but everyone was quite busy to answer a 6 years old boy’s silly question. Finally, the day comes when the inaugural ceremony of the house takes place, which brings a lot of gifts from the near ones. I open a pack named Peter England over it. Surprisingly, I got a screaming sound from my brother saying the dress from a cement company for the fan sitting here. There I got an observation that from the cement in my pillar to dress and aluminum foil in my tiffin box, Aditya Birla Group is hovering with its presence in different forms.
Aditya Birla Group can be brought into the picture for everyone starting from the time we used mobile with IDEA network, traveled places in trains with alloy wheels, went to places in cabs with speed gears, dressed with brands like Allen Solly, Peter England, etc. My MBA journey has started with the loan being financed by Aditya Birla Group and suit tailored by Van Heusen.
I proudly feel embraced by the presence of Aditya Birla Group in my life which has always created a familiar ecosystem 24X7 around me.
Importance of challenges in my life, how they taught me many valuable lessons

One of the most memorable challenges in my life so far has been to achieve something great in the career so that there would be no symbol of remorse in the future. After I had completed my graduation, I joined a manufacturing industry that was in harmony with my passion. Getting the opportunity was not easy, I had to prove myself better than others competing. Everything was going smooth and fine until I realized that my target was different then what I was doing. I had two options either to accept that state of life or push myself to work on my career.
After consulting many people near me and with some market research, I found that the crux of management domain knowledge was missing in my profile. I decided to prepare for the entrance exam which would help me to join a top B-School. With due course of time, I found making it to a top college requires continuous and stringent efforts with proper dedication. Now the real challenge was with my nature of work which demanded my presence for long hours. This created a challenge for me to give effective hours of daily preparation time. To cater my needs, I moved to a company where I could balance both studies and work.
Although I made every fitting condition for my preparation, the desired outcome was not reflected in my mock scores. I decided to take a break and analyzed myself to understand the problem, which made me realize that I was trapped into undue pressure of expectation. This keen observation helped me to rectify and prominently helped to improve my performance. Understanding own strength and making possible changes according to the need of the hour was lifelong learning from my MBA preparation. The challenges of the preparation were the same as what an organization faces every day, and the role of any business leader will always to understand the criticality of matter and act on it. Today, this lesson has helped me to get into one of the prestigious colleges in eastern India XIMB, Bhubaneswar. It gives a sense of proud feeling after getting engaged with the brilliant minds of India and moving towards my ambition.
