Aditya Birla Group is one of the largest and oldest conglomerates with over 150 years of existence. With recorded revenue of over $44.3 billion, the Aditya Birla Group is currently operating in around 14 sectors, comprising of retail, banking, chemicals, cement, etc. With such a vast operational network expanded across so many different verticals and enormous number of touchpoints, ABG is bound to have affected or touched a lot of lives in India and abroad.
Although I have engaged with ABG through several verticals, the one that has impacted my life the most and is a part of it has to be Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited or ABFRL. ABFRL has had such a great impact on me and my family's life that the brands under it have atleast 80% share of all of our wardrobes. The omnipresence of the stores of Pantaloons, Allen Solly, Van Huesen, Forever 21 shows the popularity and dominance they command in the Apparel market. They have been my one-stop shop for all my apparel requirements. While Van Huesen, Allen Solly and Hackett take care of our casual and evening clothing requirements, brands like Richard Parker and Byford have got my Office and formal requirements covered. Each and every product exudes quality and establishes a connect which doesn't allow one to wander off from them. Talk of customer satisfaction, they have kept me clinged to them because of their quality offerings. As a Marketing student, ABFRL and its brands have practically made me realise and understand how to meet customer values and needs efficiently. Apart from taking care of my clothing needs, it is also helping me visualise the real-world execution of marketing strategies.
