Some say setting a goal is half the work,

But the next half is a bit more harder as we have to overcome challenges from ourselves and others to achieve it. Having completed my graduation in B.Tech with computer science specialization, I was keen on working in an organization to get a better idea about how people work and interact in a corporate life. I was always fascinated by the role of Human resource manager. Hence, I joined as a developer in a multinational corporation. I wanted to work and get to know how things work so that it would help me get a better idea on employee's perspective, which would help me in serving the role of my dream designation better. It is the most required quality of an HR to understand people, put yourself in their shoes and help them out in solving the their issues.

Thus, I started my journey in accomplishing my ambitions and with that followed a number of challenges.

Having gained a year of experience in the corporate world, my next step towards achieving my goals was to get a post graduation degree in Human Resource management, which would enhance my skills and knowledge and help me to serve my dream role better. Hence, I was in a situation where in I had to prepare for my exams in order to be admitted in a reputed institute which would provide me quality education. This had to be done in addition to the work I was doing. It was quite hectic to manage both work and studies simultaneously. The project that I was working in was about to be implemented and hence our team had a high pressure and stricter deadlines. This made it even more difficult to manage work and studies. Furthermore, I could not wait for another year since I was nearing 2 years of experience and that was the right time to take the next step. Apart from that there was also a bit discouragement from my family members as well for starting studies at this age. Hence, basically I was alone all through these challenges and had to sail alone to achieve my goals. I was determined and it was my perseverance with which I could achieve this. I had setup strict time tables to manage studies and also convinced my family about the advantages which involved my self satisfaction, love for the job role, hike in pay and so on. Whatever be the challenges that we face, if we are determined, there will be a way and we will find that way. I may not have a full proof plan when I start my journey, but I improvise on the go.
