Aditya Birla Group was founded in 1857 by Seth Narayan Birla. It is an Indian multinational conglomerate having its presence in 35 countries with over 120K employees. I am a thin guy, clothes of every brand does not fit me well. I have to roam here and there to find a good fit. Back in 2011, I was shifted to Hyderabad because of my father’s job change. Earlier I was living in small town Dungarpur in Rajasthan. At that time, it was under developed and there were no branded stores, so I have to travel to Udaipur sometimes to match the right fit. After coming to Hyderabad I found Peter England in one mall and entered to purchase clothes. It was something like a hidden treasure for me. It was delighted to see the variety and design and clothes. I tried a few, and to my surprise, they fitted me well. Since then, Peter England is a one stop store for me. Not only me, my father is also a fan of Peter England. I wait for some offers and then grab it as something is distributing it free of cost. When I go to Brand Factory, I usually go to Peter England because I believe that I will get the choice which I want. My mother likes to shop from Pantaloons because she knows that she will get the latest trends. She had a fair trust in Pantaloons.
And who can ignore Ultra Tech Cement, We had been to numerous buildings, imagine how many would have been constructed using Ultra Tech cement. So, Aditya Birla group is everywhere, it is omnipresent and it makes me proud beacuse its an Indian Multinational.
About their progress since Independence, it has stronghold in Indian markets and contributed in many sectors. It also gives me a feeling of “swadeshi” whenever I come across Aditya Birla brands.

After graduating from college, I started working in a start-up in Noida. Simultaneously I had to prepare for CAT exam and I hardly get some energy to study after becoming back from office at 7:30 PM. I fell ill, I had some infections in my liver so was under regular treatment from July-September adding to my hardships . Now, there were two challenges in front of me, first to continue my job because in startup you have to do qualitative and challenge is to maintain it and second to prepare for CAT because, I want to enter a good B-school. I had wasted few days thinking about this, leading to low productivity in job and as well in preparation. I was lagging behind and had fear of failure. After listening to some inspirational stories my mother, a wave of hope flooded my nerves, and I was determined to overcome the challenges that I was facing. I prepared a proper schedule and promised my soul to stick to it. Because of my will power and regular motivation of my mother, I started a new optimistic journey and ended up performing well in CAT later converting IMT Ghaziabad and successfully balancing my work life as well. So, when I do think about this, I feel happy that how I overcome the challenges in spite of health issues and earlier when I was fit, I could not manage time to study.
