All of us have different views on what life means to them. Some people choose to be optimistic and focus on the bright side whereas some choose to indulge in constant grumbling about the adversities of their life. We as humans tend to get accustomed to one setting and find hard to cope with change.

I am the youngest child in my family. I was dearest to all. The main obstacle that I faced in my life was to convince my parents to allow me to follow my dreams. My parents were against to send me away from home for MBA. My decision of going away from home was heart wrenching for them.

I applied for CAT and didn’t tell them that I have applied. I wrote CAT and when the results were announced then I told them about it. It was a chaotic situation at my home. After a lot of discussions I applied for some premier B-schools and got shortlisted in almost all of them. I gave interviews for three of them and ultimately cracked two B-schools one of which was TAPMI. Then after a lot of discussions at my home about this course I managed to convince my parents with the help of my brother-in law. So this was my share of challenges that I faced in life and how I overcame the hurdles and joined PGDM Marketing and Sales Management program at TAPMI.
