MY SJMSOM INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE

My Interview with SJMSOM was held on 3rd March 2021 in the morning slot.
This was the first time I had received an interview call from the esteemed college. The platform used by the admissions team was a new one and they had explained all the technicalities of the platform two days before the actual interview took place. The link for joining the interview and list of documents to be provided at the time was also provided beforehand.
As the slot provided had a span of 5 hrs. instead of the average 30 mins (provided by other colleges), we knew that we would be waiting for our turn on the platform. A group of 10-12 people were in a single group who will be going to a selected panel. But what we did not knew was that the platform was interactive, so we could talk with each other and gain knowledge about other profiles and also talk with the seniors who were assigned to the specific panel. These things made the process very smooth and the candidates very comfortable before the interview.
I had a weak internet connection due to which I exited the platform 15 mins before my turn for interview was to come. I contacted the senior assigned to my panel and informed him of the situation. He was very calm and told me to inform him once my internet starts working and even if that does not work, I can give the interview next day. Luckily, my net started working after 2 hours and I was able to enter the platform 1 hour before the end time. I was given the link to the panel and the interview happened. The panel had 3 members and the interview was very smooth as they mostly asked questions on my aspirations towards future and on my experience. After the Interview, the document verification process happened smoothly. After both processes, we were given the choice to stay and interact till the slot ends or leave now. Overall, the experience was very enriching.
