Aditya Birla Group, an Indian Multinational conglomerate operating in 35 countries, does not need any introduction as most of us already know about it. From fashion to telecom, cement to non ferrous metal Aditya Birla Group is being present in all sphere of our lives. Without ABG, I can’t imagine the development of infrastructure in India. Either through cement for building or copper wire from Hindalco for railways, everything is possible by their efforts. I felt its first presence in my life in my school days as Freshwrapp. My mother used to wrap  food with it for lunch. I felt the warmth of mother’s love even hours after it was packed. During my summer vacation, I along with my family always go to grandfathers’ house where I used to see my uncles using Birla Balwan fertilizers in the field of paddy. This was second interaction with Aditya Birla Group’s product. Although I was too young to know or understand parent company of any product but I remember an incident about it. We, siblings, used to try to lift up the fertilizer sack to help our parent one by one. One who was able to do so, was called as Balwan or stronger. I have been wearing Louis Philippe’s shirts and VanHeusen blazer since my college days.

Apart from all of these incidents, I am deeply impacted by is their Corporate social responsibility activities. I belong to a village in which proper education system is not available. One of there CSR activity is related to education system. They are operating around 56 schools and educating 46500 students every year. They also give scholarship to needy students.

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

-Martin Luther King, Jr.

Being youngest sibling in family, I was always pampered and cared in my house which made me a bit conservative in nature. I remained silent in class during discussions although being a good student. I used to listen but never participated in any discussion. I passed in senior secondary exam with good marks. Then I got selected in a government engineering college in Bihar. During my college day, I felt that I was lagging behind other student in extra curricular activities. To overcome from this situation I joined NCC and Technical Fest Committee. In NCC, although I was a cadet but some time I have to lead my company of 157 cadet in different camps which made me able to face the world and I also assign task to my group and make best utilization of every cadet in NCC up to their maximum potential. In technical committee, I was a part sponsorship team in which I have approach the company for sponsor. I used to talk to company representative for the same. This made me able to overcome from my conservative nature.

If there is no Struggle, there is no progress.
