Since teenage, I have keen interest in fashion and branded apparels. With brands like pantaloons, allen solly , ted baker and van heusen it has contributed a lot in my life. Now being in hostel, it reminds me of times when me and my mother went for shopping and the first shop we would enter was pantaloons. It reminds me of the confidence with which my mother walks carrying a ted baker handbag and wearing a ted baker wrist watch. How can I forget the time when after searching so many stores I finally found a perfect formal suit for my IIM Ranchi interview from Van Heusen. Life is a series of constant challenges that one must overcome to persevere. Throughout my life I have faced various challenges but until now when I entered post-graduation I don’t believe I truly understood what a true challenge was. I was sent to a boarding school at a very early age and it was a great challenge for me at that time to stay away from home and my family. I met people from different backgrounds and at the age of 12 it was very difficult and challenging for me to manage everything but with time I tried focusing on various other things and started adjusting with people, with the environment and made many friends and then there was the day i.e. day of my farewell when I was not ready to leave my school, my home away from home and to leave my friends. Then came a time when I had to pursue higher studies and I decided to enter the corporate world as I used to get fascinated by various big companies such as Aditya Birla group and hence decided to pursue MBA so as to become part of such big companies. Since I belong to a typical business family where generally families don’t prefer to send their children in service sector so it was very challenging for me to convince my family to enter this field. But confided in my parents and feel blessed that they not just supported me but laid every brick towards my dreams. Finally, after facing so many hurdles and challenges I finally entered IIM Ranchi which was a dream come true for me as I never thought that a decision to appear for CAT while pursuing my graduation would lead me to IIM Ranchi. Now when I am here I realised what a true challenge is. For me this is the true challenge which would help me to reach the greater heights on the cloud of my dreams and I would try my best to overcome this true challenge of my life.
