Challenges are inevitable, but overcoming them is purely our choice. This is the difference that distinguishes people into what they want and what they really achieve. Some challenges come to test our mettle and push us beyond our boundaries. One such challenge had come my way after I completed my two years of my work experience in telecom. I wanted to enter into the business side of things and decided to pursue an MBA. When I started this journey, I come across some stories of how some people cracked CAT exam in 6 months, whilst other took 6 years. There was a whole spectrum of success and failure stories and legends and it was intimidating, yet exciting to start this journey.

When I started preparing for the CAT exam, it was only 6 months away and covering a humongous syllabus was a major task. The next 6 months went in a flash and I had taken a lot of stress during this time, such that during exam time I ended up falling sick. The preparation and the effort did not meet its end-game! Parents had a lot of support during this time and motivated me to give it another try. I had quit my full time career and simply sitting at home and studying only added fuel to the fire of stress. So, I turned to my hobby for writing to ease the time. I started content-writing internship during this time where I wrote over 200 articles. I also published my book during this year which got published just a week before CAT exam. It was one of the biggest achievements of my life since I had been writing the book for last one year, managing CAT preparations as well as content writing. Challenges do not require talent, but persistence to overcome which was my biggest lesson that I have learnt.
