“UltraTech Cement”-The engineer’s choices-India’s no.1 cement company is one of the most popular brands that has impacted my life. After the super cyclone of 1999 whole of Odisha was devastated and left in ruins. My home was also not untouched by its effects. Our village home had to be reconstructed and as we all know ‘Ghar Banega no.1, jab cement lagega no.1', my father went for the best one. From that day till now it has withstood many severe disasters like ‘Hudhud’, ‘phailine’ head-on. Henceforth Ultratech will always be my only choice for construction.
ABG also has many successful apparel brands and some prominent ones are ‘Peter England’, ‘Allen Solly’, ‘Louis Philippe’, ‘Van Heusen. These fashion brands keep me up to date with the changing styles and trends in society. Pantaloons is my first preference for any ethnic wear or western casuals. Be it any occasion or celebration, it has always made things easier for me.
How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambition
I never stopped dreaming and I never stopped working towards my goals. It will always be hard, maybe a lot of failures will come and that's the thing – the hard times always bring the better version of me. I always try to learn from my failures. Mostly the two golden principles of my life which helped me to go through tough times are “Self-discipline” and “Never give up attitude”.
I had my bad times after my graduation I was totally broken due to certain personal problems when I was unable to find any hope. Those were the hard days for me to figure out how to proceed with my failures. Then I read the story of successful people and found it’s not just me who was having failures in life. Many successful people had their tough times but they kept working hard for their goals.
I was mostly inspired by the words of SpaceX CEO “Elon Reeve Musk”, who had gone through several disappointments. But he has this “never give up” attitude, which made him very successful. Somehow, I managed to inherit these qualities in me. Whenever a challenge comes in my way, I try to tackle it in the most disciplined manner. I never run from hard work.
“The earlier you start, the better life you get”-The desire to achieve my ambitions quickly, helped me to work efficiently and continuously. I have always given my efforts to construct a better form of me by which I can contribute my best to mankind. This positivity has always been leading my way to face any challenge.
