Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life.
With this changing era of life that one thing which has remained constant ever within us is the belief. The belief of revolution which is brought about by Aditya Birla Group in our life is worth every penny. Looking across the Skyscrapers, the famous Sea-link in Mumbai makes me remember about the UltraTech Cement which has revolutionized the Cement industry and has laid the foundation of the Real-estate Business. The Branded Clothing, I prefer to make me realize the presence of foreign brands like Allen Solly, Peter England, Van Heusen, etc brought to us under one roof of Pantaloons. Aditya Birla Group is evident in our daily life be it a small aluminium drink Can be processed by Hindalco or be it financial support by the Aditya Birla Capital. Hindalco has helped us recycle over 65 billion Cans. The mobile phones are taking a centre stage in this era with the outspread connectivity brought to us by the telecom giant Vodafone-Idea. They are giving expression to the new India. Birla Carbon has proved its presence by making tires stronger and safer with every ride taken. The company has been regularly offering employment for the locals in various areas and have always been involved in corporate CSR activities. The company has already planted more than 5 million trees in such a way that the barren lands are now dense forests. Every now and then I step out I feel the omnipresence of this giant group which makes us feel special be it as a group or as an individual.
How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far.
Coming from a middle-class family and financially weak background, I had to overcome various challenges throughout for pursuing my Post graduation. Adding to it the joint family of 11 members depends upon the sole bread earner, hence the scope of pursuing higher education was highly limited. In spite of all odds faced by me, I had my family as my support at hand. Recurring motivations and inspiring instances by my family helped me to stay in this cut-throat competition. That continuous support helped me get through one of the best government engineering colleges in the state. In those four years, I somehow realized that this wasn’t my end to the studies as I was more inclined towards pursuing my post-graduation from a college of higher repute. After completing my engineering, I was lucky enough to grab a job in an MNC which helped me understand the corporate world from a broader perspective. With my daily activities going through I was largely inspired by my manager to pursue a master’s degree in Management and acquire all the necessary managerial skills to understand the business from a broader perspective. With that enthusiasm, I started preparing for the Management entrance tests apart from my working hours. I pushed myself a little ahead of my regular life to work hard and perform well. Finally, after getting through all the management entrances and interviews I was lucky enough to get myself an opportunity to pursue an MBA in one of the top-most Business schools in India i.e. XIMB. Hence, my dream of joining a premier B-school has come true.
