It was to decode CAT 2013, 2014 - exam pattern, time duration, sections, type of q asked, difficulty level. However, this can't be extrapolated to predict the CAT 2020 paper.

The article has several mistakes. No.of questions in CAT 2013 was 60, not 50. CAT 2013 was conducted in 39 slots spread across 20 days. QA Section of CAT 2014 was the easiest in the last one decade. Marking scheme in CAT 2013 was not +7.5 & -2.5. It was +3 & -1, but scaled to 450 marks overall.

Hey, the number of questions I have mentioned for CAT 2013 is 60, please re-read carefully. Some sources speak of 7 days, so let me verify this again. I have not commented on the difficulty level of the QA section of CAT 2014 in the article, and have only mentioned of the number of questions and the variety. The marking scheme implies the final mark allotted. Hope it clears!
