Any consumer product before reaching to the consumers have to go through a lot of product research, market research and undergo sustainability in the market, before becoming successful in the industry. One of the successful brands that are quite popular in the premium clothing industry is Louis Philippe, which was introduced in India in 1989. Until nine years from now, when I was studying in Class 10, I was promised that I would be gifted a Louis Philippe shirt by my father if I would secure more than 90% in my final exams. Keeping that target in mind, I aimed to achieve my goal and strived hard to maintain my academics upto that level. The brand Louis Philippe represented by the logo of the king’s crown, fascinated me to desire more for their products. The product was not only a fashionable item that I desired for, but it also gave me motivation and obsessed me to study hard without reluctance. So finally the day of the results came, and I was delighted to know that I secured 9 CGPA in the class 10-board exams, which made my parents happy and proud. That night after the results, my father took me to the Pantaloons showroom which was the most modern and elite retail showroom in Guwahati at that time, and I finally set my hands on a red-striped Louis Philippe T-shirt which I desired to buy from the very beginning. Hold on, there is more. Remember the recent ad which appears on the TV screens : "Desh ka No.1 Cement" which is shaping the foundation of millions of home across India - Ultratech Cement. Also, the tagline : "Engineers Choice" makes  me more dearer to the brand as the ad depicts the story of an engineer who strives to build a tough and indestructible home in the most remote locations in India where cement is not readily available for the consumer. This ad relates to my story describing the 4 years of  engineering which has transformed me from a young teenager student to an engineer. Behind the technology of every successful creation, may it be highrise buildings, bridges, automobiles or gadgets, is an engineer which is reflected through this ad and thus makes me feel proud about it. Also, during my teenage days when for the first time I received my very first smartphone having an Idea Sim within brings back memories of how independent I felt carrying a smartphone in hand and using it - as if I have achieved something that made me feel as a responsible adult at a very young age. Hence, Aditya Birla Group, the parent owner company of the brands like Louis Philippe, Pantaloons, Ultratech Cement, Idea and many more, captures a very special place within my fond memories, which makes me recollect more about the brand even today.

Success and failures are both equally essential and vital for a person to develop both physically and socially in this tough and competitive environment. They both stand out as reflections of your ups and downs that you have experienced in your past life. Thus, it becomes paramount to learn from our past, to act wisely in our present, and to prepare for the worst that may occur in our future. Like for every human being born on this planet, I also have experienced tough times and surpassed them to emerge as a person that I believe in. One of the instances was when I suffered from a bike accident during my 3rd year in college, which left me with a bruised and fractured right hand and a broken incisor teeth. I was unable to recover from that situation at that instant, and everything went blank for me for that split second. I went through depression and everyday. I had realizations about what I could have done to save myself from that situation. Also, as 3rd year was the period of internships and campus placements in our college, I missed the opportunity to intern in IIT Guwahati on a project on a miniaturized version of energy regeneration that I was passionate about. Also, I missed out on the recruitment processes of many top-notch companies, and it became difficult for me to cope up with my academics. However, on one fine day, I realized, that physically, I might have been temporarily disabled for that period, but my mind was not. I heeded advice from a counselor that day on and with the support of my parents and peers motivating me, I completed my internship in ONGC, Kolkata and subsequently, I secured a job in Tata Motors, being a part of that prestigious organization. So, it turned out to be evident that some failures in life followed with motivation to emerge out from those hardships contributes to past experiences that inspire us to move forward in life without the fear of failure and rejections and ultimately become a successful person.
