A Journey Across Strategy, Social Impact, and Venture Research
Sakshi’s academic grounding in Economics built her fluency in research, data interpretation, and structured decision-making. During her MBA, she interned at A&H Capital as a Business Development Intern, where she researched over 50 early-stage startups and conducted sectoral analysis to support investment proposals. She contributed to pipeline generation and founder outreach, learning how to evaluate scalability, business models, and founder-investor fit.
Beyond her internship, Sakshi has demonstrated initiative and problem-solving in varied contexts. She was the second runner-up in a national Consulting Challenge, where she crafted a strategic market entry plan for a health-tech client. At IIT Delhi’s case competition, she proposed a digital solution to address blood donation shortages in India, reaching the national finalist stage.
Her work with two social organizations further shaped her leadership philosophy. At Nayee Asha, she helped implement a 90-day training and placement program for e-rickshaw workers, and at Womenite, she successfully negotiated with 10 vendors overnight when a food supplier backed out, ensuring a drive for underprivileged children could continue as planned. These experiences reinforced her belief that true leadership emerges when circumstances are uncertain and stakes are high.
Stepping Up When It Matters: Delivering Under Pressure at A&H Capital
Among her achievements, Sakshi is most proud of a critical investor meeting assignment during her internship at A&H Capital. With only 48 hours to prepare and no existing process to rely on, the team urgently needed a refined pipeline of climate-tech startups. Sakshi independently learned how to extract insights from Apollo, combined it with strategic use of LinkedIn filters, and screened over 70 relevant startups.
She evaluated them based on funding stage, product-market alignment, scalability, and team strength, developing a categorized pipeline document that became central to the investor meeting. Ultimately, three startups from her list were shortlisted for due diligence.
For Sakshi, the significance of this achievement lies not in the numbers but in the mindset. She stepped outside her assigned role, picked up tools on her own, and delivered under time pressure. It reinforced her belief that while AI can assist with information gathering, it is human judgment, intuition, and commitment that create real strategic value.

During her internship at Nayee Asha, Sakshi noticed a silent problem. Women in the community, whose engagement was essential to the success of the training program, were hesitant to participate due to cultural discomfort and lack of clarity. Without being asked, she took on the responsibility of field work.
She traveled across eight rural villages, visited homes, listened to concerns, created vernacular learning material, and facilitated discussions that included family members. As a direct result, participation increased, and 70 percent of previously withdrawn women rejoined or encouraged their families to attend.
For Sakshi, this was not about recognition. It was about ensuring that inclusion was not a slogan but a lived reality.
