SJSMSoM Interview Experience - Prajakta Jagtap

Nervousness crept through me as I clicked on the link for the SJMSOM interview platform called Gather. The moment I clicked it, I found over 150 minions there with the names of all the students on it. It was a virtual platform containing the auditorium, document verification rooms with privacy, waiting room and interview rooms. In the auditorium room, we were allotted different tables with our own separate guides. As we talked and went through the process, I felt myself easing up. Guides kept us occupied as we waited for our turns. We even watched Mr. Bean during the time. It was hilarious! As my name was called, I walked my little minion to the interview room and there I was, finally, on my final round of entering my dream college. There were three panellists. 2 male, 1 female. Polite and welcoming. They asked me to introduce myself and then the real questionnaire began. The topic of our discussion revolved around the current affairs in Telecommunication, as I am an ETC student. I was asked about the Spectral auction and the Telcom operators. Later, my academic knowledge was tested. And then came the turn of current affairs in general. The whole interview continued for 20 minutes. There were times when I couldn't answer but the panellists’ polite gesture didn't let me lose my confidence. There were times when we even laughed at one thing or another. Nevertheless, the interview got over and I was asked to return to the auditorium. This was one unique and amazing interview experience I have ever had. The whole process started and ended on time, the guides stayed in contact with us till the end of the process and this is how my interview process came to an end.
