A six year old kid was visiting his village in the summer break 20 years ago. But the idea of meeting his cousins or grandparents was not exciting him. He was pretty much reluctant to spend more than a day there. Looking back at that time I wonder what made the difference. Now when that lad visit his village he is quite excited to experience something different from that mundane urban life.

Apart from the basic life style changes like electrification and proper drinking water, there has been a overall shift from the mud houses to the solid cemented house. These houses gave a sense of pride to the villagers. My relatives used to boast of their own architecture and hard work. For them, it gives them satisfaction to finally have a solid house.

Not only houses, but the concrete roads across the cities and even rural localities have changed how we used to see Indian roads. The pits and broken roads after the monsoon season was a usual business which also lead to traffic jams and even accidents. The concrete roads, though bit expensive on the finance side, gives good returns in the long run.

Aditya Birla Ultratech cement with being largest cement manufacturer in the world has given India a reason to be proud of. The cement it manufactures is used in real estate, infrastructure projects like dams, canals etc.

With the sustainability in the production, ABG is successfully leading by an example of how to change lives and walk taking everyone along.
