SPJIMR Specializations Offered

SPJIMR Selection Criteria 2024-2026
SPJIMR Academic Background
SPJIMR places significant importance on the academic background of applicants. Here are the key academic criteria:
10th Grade and 12th Grade
- The aggregate of all subjects' scores (marks) on the mark sheet is considered for the final percentage.
- If your board/university uses grades/grade points, they must be converted into a percentage using the applicable conversion factor. This conversion certificate is required during the verification process if shortlisted.
Graduation
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university.
- The degree should entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2).
- If your institution doesn't provide a percentage, it will be calculated based on the marks obtained in all subjects listed in the marks sheet (s) for all years.
- For applicants with grades/CGPA, conversion to a percentage is mandatory, with a conversion factor of 10. A conversion certificate is required during verification if shortlisted.
- Integrated master’s degrees directly after 12th are considered equivalent to a bachelor's degree.

Applicants Awaiting Results
- Applicants in their final year or those awaiting results must provide a provisional certificate from their institute/university.
- The applicant should have obtained 50% marks or equivalent in the exams that have been completed.
- The degree must be provided by December 31, 2024, if selected.
International Applicants
- Indian applicants with degrees from overseas institutions should ensure recognition by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or other appropriate authorities.
Work Experience
- Work experience is not mandatory for the PGDM program.
- Graduates with no work experience and those with less than five years of work experience can apply.
- Only relevant work experience after graduation is considered, excluding internships, training, or unpaid work.
- Proof of work experience such as offer letters, salary slips, and experience letters must be provided.

To apply for the PGDM program, applicants must fill out the online admission

Application fees vary based on the number of programs applied for:
- PGDM application fee: INR 2000/-
- PGDM (BM) application fee: INR 2000/-
- Both programs (PGDM & PGDM (BM)) application fee: INR 3000/-
Payment can be made through net banking, wire transfer, or Debit/Credit Card.
SPJIMR Selection Process 2024-26
The selection process at SPJIMR involves multiple phases:
Shortlists - Interviews
- Shortlisting is based on the applicant's profile, including academic consistency, relevance of work experience, versatility, and achievements.
- Meeting the minimum eligibility cutoff in the entrance exam is mandatory for a profile-based shortlist.
Second Phase Shortlists
- This phase occurs after entrance test scores are available.
- Applicants are called for interviews based on their profile and entrance test performance.
Selection List
- The selection list is based on a composite score, considering the applicant's profile, academic record, entrance test scores, relevance of work experience, and performance in group interviews.
Total Intake
The PGDM program currently has an intake of 240 students. An additional 36 seats are sanctioned for OCI/PIO, children of Indian workers in Gulf countries, and Foreign Nationals, making the maximum total intake up to 276 seats. NRI applications are considered on par with Indian applications.
