“Believe you can and you’re halfway there”- Theodore Roosevelt
Learning is an ongoing process and will continue at every phase of your life. My internship for 2 months at Finaachi Wealth Management was a learning process about lot of things. This made me learn about lot of things about financial markets and corporate world
I walked in to my first day of the internship’s orientation, feeling excited, nervous, and awkward in my business casual outfit. But these feelings were quickly replaced by hesitancy when I found myself walking into a room where 29 other college students were staring back at me. But, after eight days of learning, team-building, this was something I was looking forward for.
We learned for 4 weeks for out internship. Had rigorous trainings about forex market came two weeks after we began the internship. I pride myself on having a head screwed soundly on my shoulders and a strong gut instinct. After work, I spent several hours researching the company, researching about market, trading. But I still ended up showing up for work, ready to make a difference, the next day, and the next, and the day after that. Even more importantly, I felt confident that I was doing something meaningful, and I was a part of an important organization with a significant cause.
Very few people realize that the state of education is in dire straits, particularly education for minority groups and public school education in the South. Learning about stock markets, actualy buyihng stocks and forex commodities helped me realise the importance of being patient and taking risk at the same time.
My mentor was Mr. Mrintunjoy Kumar. He is the CEO and Co- founder of the company. He guided us very well and made sure we were comfortable about each and every thing in office. He guided us really well and was there throughout to rectify our mistakes and make us learn at every path. Apart from internship, he helped us in getting to know our goal and gave us the importance about life and goals in life.
During these 2 months, I had a chance to network with the other interns and get to know their experience and about their B-School. It was fun to interact and chill with them post work hours.
These 2 months, also helped me realise about what things we are missing in life and how important it is to be financially managed and aware. The importance of saving and having a little risk in life and enjoying the moment of profit were the moments we were looking forward to and made us happy.
The environment of the company was good and made us work hard and learn more each and every day. I would truly cherish these 2 months and the amount of learning it gave it to me. I feel happy to be interned at Finaachi. It was a great experience over all. The time will never come back but the learning will go on and on and on.
