Life is a game that throws at us situations that are sometimes difficult to handle and other times relatively simple. Whatever it may be, navigating this unpredictable and often confusing world is something all of us are doing.
It is natural to face challenges and my life has been no exception. Though life has been relatively smooth, I have gone through ups and downs and all these have helped me in shaping me into the person I am now. While the good times were pleasant, it is the testing ones that have added depth to my character and it is when I look back upon them that I realize that they have taught me more than any book ever has.
Life is all about making choices. And mostly tough ones. One of the toughest choices in my life was that of doing an MBA after an Honors degree in Chemistry. Shifting to such a radically different stream was uncommon and the Statement of Purpose for the B-Schools I applied to started off with an unceremonious “I am not your traditional fresher…”
Life would have gone on even if I had opted for an M.Sc. But I believe life is rich and beautiful and now that I can see it from the perspective of a once budding scientist and now a budding entrepreneur, I have discovered dimensions that I would have missed out on earlier. And I am confident that these will shape the me I will be tomorrow and that will surely be a better me!
