For a shopping freak woman, Aditya Birla Group has changed the whole shopping experience. They introduced many global brands into Indian market, lately adding Forever 21 and pantaloons in their cart. With the shopping experience drifting more towards online retail, ABG came up with their own E-commerce website Abof. It wasn't any coincidence. It was a well structured move by ABG. When the giants like Flipkart and Amazon failed to clothe the people properly, Abof took up the job. Though they decided to shut it down, it was one of those few E-commerce venture which gained a large customer base in very less time. Not do they just focus on gaining customers, but the company also provides immense opportunities as it outsources engineering, textile and apparel.
Creating employment in diverse domains and and capitalisation Aditya Birla Group is a role model for many budding companies. This has not just made Indian customers open to global experience but increased indigenous competition as well.
