My parents have always tried to solve all the problems for me and this made me very comfortable with the thought that someone else is always going to be there to solve my problems. But just before the entrance exam for MBA (CAT), I realised that the life is not going to be the same for me from now on. Gone are the days of being spoon-fed with all the facilities and comforts. It is time to take up the challenge of MBA and prove myself in my own eyes.
As soon as I started preparing this exam, I knew that Quantitative aptitude section is going to be a major problem for me. So, I laid out a well formulated plan for studies in that particular subject. I started devoting maximum time of my day on that subject and tried to solve a bulk of variety of questions everyday.
With time, I witnessed myself getting better at it day by day and getting a hold of the concepts involved in it. Just before a month of the D-Day, I was confident about myself in all the sections.
In the last month, I focused on giving mock tests and revising the concepts daily. My performance report showed that i was performing 80% better than my performance in the beginning.
This is how I overcame a big challenge of MBA entrance exam (CAT) in my life and all it took was a little motivation and a lot of dedication.
