Being intelligent and hardworking does not always guarantee success. I learnt this lesson the hard way.
This is Story of a girl which depicts various phases of her life and the challenges she faced: -

  • Early Teens

She is a girl who is accustomed to take care of household chores and simultaneously giving her exams. This was the first time her mother had her surgery when she was appearing for tenth board examinations. Managing home and studying, is something she is now habitual to.

  • Early Youth

She is in her graduation pursuing B.com(honours) along with CA. Her college as well as CA exams are in next 15 days. Suddenly, she heard her mother crying and she was informed that her grandfather passed away. Her family rushed to their hometown to see her granddad one last time. After a day, she was sent back to concentrate and study for her exams. With numbness and empty mind, she came back to live in an empty house for next 13 days and study for her exams. But she was still able to sail through CA-IPCC and college exams as well.

  • Youth

It’s August 2018, she decided to appear for management entrance exam which is scheduled in November, 2018. With little or no hopes, thinking it is extremely difficult to crack CAT in just 4 months she started with coaching classes. She was able to study 12 hours a day thus she thought ok this is possible. But fate had something else planned for her. She mother visited the doctor and she was advised to get operated as soon as possible. Her mother got operated again this time with a complete bed-rest of 2 months. With no domestic help, doing all the household chores from laundry to cooking to cleaning and going for classes for 6 hours a day. The girl and her father managed to take care of her mother. On the day of result she scored 88 percentile and converted T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal.

There are two things which are common in all the phases: first her struggles during exams and second is the constant support which she got from her parents and friends. She would have achieved nothing without their motivation and support.
