A. How Aditya Birla Group have an impact on my life?

I have been using the Vodafone Idea network since I started my college years. The service provided by them is unmatched. I still remember even before Whatsapp was introduced in India, the company had offered a messaging plan at minimal rates. Currently, all members of my family at home are on the Vodafone Idea network. I hope they continue with this kind of performance and standard. I am very particular of what I wear and thus since I started shopping on my own, I used to mostly visit the Pantaloons store. I find the collections of Van Heusen and Louis Phillipe extremely attractive, comfortable and reasonable. I believe they bring the best in me and make me look much more poised and confident. The Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund was introduced to me by my dad and since then I have often track its performance over the years. It has made me aware of the various mutual funds available and also the secondary market. The Aditya Birla Group has a more than 150 years of legacy and has touched millions of life. Their business diversification strategy makes them reach to urban and rural markets of the country. I have read articles where they have done some valuable contribution to the society and thus helping India to evolve as a major state in the world. Their presence abroad has created a mark on the global stage and thus making it a company to look forward to with the likes of Tata, Reliance, etc.

B. About my personal challenges and how I overcame it?

Some people have a really comfortable life while others struggle to make a start. I belonged to the category where everything was easy uptill my school years. This was not because I did not study or do well. I did well because it was a habit at that phase in life where I went to school, studied, completed homeworks and again did the same thing the next day. It was routine kind of work. But when I started my college and especially my professional career, I came to know that one does not need to be good in one skill, but at multiple. In college, focusing on study was not enough. Extra curicullar activities and working on different college projects was also necessary. I had to learn about the different domains of knowledge around me. Not in depth but something which would make me not a layman when asked something about it. During my professional career I had to live up to the expectations of my seniors, co-workers, subordinates and customers. I learned a lot from my professional life. I faced multiple challenges during this phase. Customer request, completing my targets, balncing my personal and professional life. Time management was the first thing I had to figure out at this stage and how to prioritize my work was an essential aspect. Procastination was something I could not fall for. I was working at a place where I had to take responsibility of my job and be at my best and prepared at all times. I kept motivating my self time to time by listening and taking to people whom I felt could change the way I look at things around me. Working on myself everyday instilled in me leadership, confidence, interpersonal and negotiating skills. At the end I want to end with this quote- "Be better than yesterday".
