PART A:
A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step. Likewise, when I was born, my father decided to do child insurance for me as a single step towards my journey of life. Needless to say, Aditya Birla Sunlife Insurance is the first and best choice any parents could make for their child. No parents would sacrifice their child’s future and would want to fulfil all its child’s dreams and aspirations under all circumstances. As I grew up, I asked my father why does he rely on Aditya Birla Group so much! I was astonished to know from him that ABG is an Indian multinational conglomerate with a family of over 120,000 employees worldwide and has spread its wings across various sectors such as Aluminium products, Textiles, Ready-made garments, Life and general insurance products, Financial services, Telecommunications, BPO and software services, Exports, etc. The trust built by ABG over the years got transferred to me.
When I entered into college life, I wanted to flaunt myself in front of my friends through my fashion sense. My mother introduced me to the stunning collections of Pantaloons. With time I came across different brands of ABFRL, which includes People, Van Heusen, Forever 21, and many more. Today I don’t get confused while choosing the brand of apparels but I get confused to choose from the umpteen varieties of apparels available under the same brand umbrella.
During my stay in Pune, I used to stay alone and do all the things by myself starting from cooking and ending with cleaning the house. I used to go to More(store) and get all the daily needs from one place. On one odd day, I met with an accident. Although I didn’t get any serious injuries, I lost my consciousness in the road with some minor wounds and bruises. People rushed me to the Aditya Birla Hospital, which was nearer to the accident spot. The hospital's attendants were very cooperative and took utmost care of me. For their proper treatment and care, I was able to recover soon.
PART B:
Tough times never last, but tough people do. Every one of us has gone through some struggles in life. But without struggles, there is no progress. To learn from our hard times, to stand up and shine again is what we should imbibe in us. Through my hard times, I have learnt never to give up and try harder and harder until I get success.
I was not good at studies back in my school days. My Mathematics teacher encouraged me to pay attention to my academics. Under his guidance, I qualified in Mathematics Olympiad. This achievement proved to me that persistence is the key to success. Highly motivated by this, I shifted my focus on my studies, and I did pretty much good in the upcoming exams.
While working as a Systems Engineer in one of the MNCs, I found it difficult to cope up with the programming as I don’t belong to software background. During training, the level of difficulty of the syllabus was higher, and there were frequent assessments. But, never give up attitude and strong determination in me, helped me to manage my time effectively. With the help of peers and educators, I studied hard and practised a lot and eventually understood the concepts of programming. Ultimately my hard work paid off, and I excelled in the entire batch. From my work experience diary, I remember one incident when my team had to deal with the stringent deadline with internal conflicts where I took the initiative and brought the team into sync and delivered the project in time with accuracy.
A journey is incomplete without learning. With every fall, we learn something, to rise again. But not to forget we have to make this journey a beautiful one. A conglomerate, like ABG, adds more colours to our journey and makes it more beautiful to have a safe and happy ride.
