I've lived in the United Arab Emirates for most of my youth and hence, I was not very familiar of the various brands that were commonly used by the Indian market. However, by the time I joined my undergraduation in Madras Christian College, Chennai, that was no longer the case. The usual brands I have been opting earlier were no longer available and I had to Inidan-ise my purchases.
I was able to accommodate with ease as there were plenty of brands and their stores that met my requirements. My sister was a regular customer at Forever 21, always visiting the store for her requirements. Even while I was joining Deloitte, I knew that stores like Peter England, Allen Solly and Van Heusen were the places to go and I was able left satisfied.
It wasn’t until I began looking into the Aditya Birla Group for participating in this project that I realized just how significant a role Aditya Birla Group played in my life. As it turns out, almost all of my formal attires were purchased from one or the other outlets that fell under the massive wings of the Aditya Birla Group. But that’s not all. I had been a Vodaphone customer as well for quite a long time, having been provided with excellent service throughout my time with them.
The fact that Birla cement is one that is used all over India just goes to show the influence they have in the customers minds. It really took me by surprise but I am pleased to see that I have also been benefiting from the various services provided by the Aditya Birla Group.
