Why Aditya Birla Group Is Big In My Life?

With its massive variety of countless products and avenues, Aditya Birla Group has silently and steadily cocooned the world we see around us. From the cement in the looming facades around us to our private lunch boxes, wrapping our edibles and, keeping it warm, Aditya Birla Group is a giant that has made its looming presence felt in varying ways.

With its inception in 1857 by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla, the ABG expanded to become the multinational conglomerate it is today. Its products and services include metals, cement (largest in India), viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbonblack, chemicals, fertilisers, insulators, financial services, telecom, BPO and IT.

Most of my interactions with the ABG have been with its various food subsidiaries in the form of the wrapping aluminium that kept my food warm for a considerable amount of time. However, little as I was, I knew not of the giant behind the initiative which helped keep my breakfast warm. ABG indeed has had a penetrated into our everyday life through countless avenues. I feel deeply indebted by its encompassing presence and appreciative of the nature of how it wraps our lives in its ever-spreading net.

How Have I Made An Impact?

It is said that the big things in life are made of teeny-weeny things that are flung at us incessantly. We encounter them all and we all have different ways to respond to them. It has been rightfully said that we are always in the process of a perpetual becoming; it is through these modest consistent responses that we lay a strong foundation of the monument we seek to raise ourselves as in the days to come.

My childhood friends and I have always had a knack of writing. They were the first ones to complete various writing projects. Although I have always had an inexplicable prowess of purple prose, I hadn’t pursued my ideas until much later. I finally had a break in the years of my university when I penned down a multitude of poems and a few short proses. Albeit it was a humble start, like all things, the littlest of steps traverse the greatest of distances.

I inculcated the habit of doing writing prompts. Since it was in the mornings, it didn’t feel like a chore. Its completion made me feel accomplished and it set the flow of the entire day in a positive way. I attempted a couple of bigger writing novel-length projects but due to lack of research, I stagnated. I realized that I needed to take one step at a time and I couldn’t jump. Consequently, I decided to work on a novelette. The genre was children’s fiction. It took me two months to complete and the outcome surprised me as it turned out to be really amazing. The completion of the writing was lauded by my friends who already had multiple writings under their belt. It helped me and it would now work as a springboard for what is to come.
