Throughout a persons life, they are faced with different obstacles, and different challenges of all different types. My life in particular has been full of up and downs .Tragedy is the catalyst of adversity. People often attempt to right wrongs that have occurred, whether they be by their own hand or by the power of circumstance. Unfortunately, not all wrongs are remedied as planned by those who seek rectification. Heywood Broun once said, “The tragedy of life is not that the man loses, but that he almost wins”.
And this has been true for the most part of my life. My life has been filled with umpteen instances of almost . I almost got selected to the Karnataka state football team , I almost got into NIT Surathkal and I almost got into one of the reputed IIM's . But I believe that's life , as hard as it gets there's always a silver lining in a dark cloud and we fall so we can pick ourselves up and stand again. The story of humanity itself is one that of overcoming adversity and every single human in this planet has had some or the other obstacle thrown at him and has overcome it.
As it goes in the movie Rocky " It ain't about how hard you hit ; It's about how hard you can get hit , and keep moving forward . It's how much you can take , and keep moving forward . That's how winning is done." During one of my semester exams in my undergrad I was down with typhoid and couldn't study for the exam but that didn't stop me from attending the exam and clearing it with flying colours.
As the saying goes " The night is always darkest just before the dawn" and I believe the dawn of my life is just around the corner and remember tomorrow's a new day and it's a new dawn and we still have miles to go before we reach our destination.
