Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life?
Aditya Birla Group, third largest Indian private sector conglomerate, is touching millions of lives daily. Expanding leaps and bounds, it all started in 1857 when Seth Shiv Naryan Birla laid the foundation of the group. It's quintessential presence in various domains has given employment to hundreds of people. The leaders of the group still follow the principles of their ancestors. They not only believe in creating livelihood for other human beings, but also create a society which is better than before. They believe in working for the under privileged sections of the society and improvising the living index of the country.
These values have coveted a sense of responsibility in me, a strong impactful desire to work for the weaker sections of the society. There still exists people in our country who are struggling for their survival. When there are people who are having three course meals, there are thousands of children who are sleeping hungry on the foot paths. According to Food and Agricultural Organization India, 14.8% of the population is undernourished in India. When there are people who are building mansions, there are millions of people without a roof, sleeping on roadsides with their families. According to Census 2011, there are close to 1.8 million homeless people in India.
Aditya Birla Group has always dwelled in well-being determined accomplishments for the people who are below the poverty line and belong to vulnerable segments of the society. This has inculcated a strong belief in me, to get involved in Corporate Social Activities in my career, ensuring valuable additions to the society.
