When it comes to taking India to the world one of the largest and diversified conglomerates in the Indian market comes to play. The global conglomerate with a workforce of over a hundred and twenty thousand people have had a significant impact on the lives of many people be it commonest of the people, farmers and millennials like me.
I wake up to the very catchy tune honey bunny, which has been stuck in the minds of people for like forever now. The lives of MBA students like us revolve around networking and innovative solutions to problems and situations, what better than a network that constantly reminds me that an idea can change your life.
Corporate life an eternal part of the MBA culture, it begins with you going to your office in your cushy insured car, big flyovers and underpasses, you suit up catering to the need of the hour, you rush up the stairs on one phone call from your boss but in the end you are a mama’s boy and like to have “Maa ke haath ka khana”.
One conglomerate that caters to all the needs of budding managers like me is Aditya Birla Group. Birla sun life insurance tells me to follow my dreams they commit to having my back, Peter England tells me it’s the beginning of good things, Idea tells me to trust my idea because it can change our lives, and while Freshwrapp helps me keep fit with keeping home-cooked food warm in aluminum and Aditya Birla Group has tonnes of it.
The omnipresent nature of the Aditya Birla Group has made it an integral part of the lives of many Indians as well as people across the globe to ignore its presence. Under the guidance of its twitter savvy leader and a very enigmatic personality, Aditya Birla Group is taking India to the world.
Cricket, football, athletics, badminton, basketball you name it and I could play it. The never-ending thirst for learning new sports and keep practicing them until I become perfect in it, made me the man I am now. I was elected as the school’s sports captain as well as college sports representative for significant participation and enthusiastic approach towards the events.
Badminton is a sport that has been very close to my heart and has won many accolades to support my liking for it. I am half the man without badminton in my life.
One fine day while training for badminton I slipped and tore my ligament to a very bad extent. The doctor recommended a surgery and 6 months of bed rest and complete abstinence from any sort of physical activity for the next few years.
I was heartbroken, couldn’t believe what just happened, I started cursing myself for had I played a bit carefully and not took my body for granted, it wouldn’t have been this bad. Seeing my agony doctor advised me to undergo surgery and do proper and rigorous physiotherapy for at least 1 year. Listening and understanding his valuable advice I underwent physiotherapy. I had to build my body strength from scratch and regain all the lost practice and abilities that I had lost in a year.
My hard work and never giving up attitude of mine helped me overcome one of the most difficult of my periods. Building my body strength from the beginning wasn’t that much an issue compared to regaining my lost confidence. Had I not kept faith in my hard work and dedicated efforts I wouldn’t have been able to come out of that situation.
