Building a Foundation Across Finance and Strategy
Vansh’s academic grounding in finance began with his B.Com (Hons) from Delhi University, followed by his preparation for CFA Level 2. His early work experiences provided exposure to multiple sides of the business landscape.
At Bharat Innovation Fund, a 100 million dollar early-stage venture capital fund, Vansh developed a fintech investment thesis that required deep research, understanding of business models, and the ability to analyze emerging trends with structured judgment. Later, at LegalPay, he worked on financial due diligence for CIRP and litigation assets while interacting closely with NBFCs and high-net-worth investors. These experiences helped him develop not only technical understanding but also the maturity required to earn trust in conversations involving complex capital decisions.
During his Summer Internship at Philips India, Vansh worked in the sales and marketing vertical for mother and child care products, conducting retailer analysis and helping shape a go-to-market approach. The cross-functional exposure ensured that his understanding of markets remained grounded in consumer needs and operational realities, not just spreadsheets.
Leading Through Impact: Establishing 180 Degrees Consulting MLNC
Among his achievements, Vansh is most proud of founding the 180 Degrees Consulting chapter at MLNC, part of the world’s largest student-run consulting network. The initiative began without an existing structure, network, or institutional support. Vansh built the chapter from the ground up, forming a team of more than 40 students and driving three consulting engagements focused on sanitation, education, and infrastructure.
The success of these projects came not from recommendations alone, but from tangible implementation work that created real improvements for partner NGOs. He also brought consultants from McKinsey and Deloitte as mentors to raise the standard of problem-solving and execution. The chapter became a sustained platform for leadership development, peer learning, and socially meaningful consulting work.
This experience shaped Vansh’s understanding of ownership, ambiguity, and long-term value creation. It reinforced his belief that leadership is demonstrated through consistent, thoughtful work rather than titles.

However, when the team realized stray dogs on their campus were suffering without medical support or shelter, they collectively chose to direct the project’s profits to their care instead of scaling the initiative for recognition.
As the leader, Vansh guided and supported this decision. There was no announcement or credit, only a shared understanding that some decisions matter for reasons that do not require validation. This experience remains meaningful to him because it reinforced that values are demonstrated in quiet ways. Leadership is as much about what one chooses to give up as what one chooses to pursue.
