If I ever think about catchy advertisements that made an impact in my life, Idea's "Walk and Talk" and "What an Idea Sir Ji!" comes to mind. I remember, as a kid, after seeing that I would never sit and talk. I would always take the phone and start walking. The impact of the ad was such that I started telling all my family members to do the same. It was funny that whenever I saw anyone sit and talk, I would go to them and say, Walk and talk. The impact was that this became a habit. The longer we talked, the longer we walked, leading to some crucial healthy lifestyle changes.
Another ad that I remember is about saving trees by saving paper. And I really started using paper judiciously, in the process, becoming a responsible Earthling. The whole “What an Idea Sir Ji” campaign had unique ideas, which could be implemented in day to day life, to take Earth towards a better future. These campaigns, in a way, shaped my childhood, making me a responsible adult.
