Believe it or not, most girls are very particular when it comes to shopping. And when you have to shop with an extremely choosy person like me, it becomes a headache. You would rather be anywhere else but with me. I can very well recall the trouble my mother had to go through when we went for Diwali shopping. We used to spend days before I could decide on a dress. Visiting every local shop in the market was hectic and annoying for everyone else who went shopping with me. And this was when I was just 9. It is easy to imagine what could happen as I grew up.
A few years later, my sister started her job in Bangalore and I went to meet her along with my parents. For the first time in my life, I actually saw what big malls look like and what experience they provide. This was when I saw Pantaloons for the first time. I have never been to a multi-brand clothing store before and my first experience of it was provided by Pantaloons. To be honest, I just felt happy, even before entering the store. And then, I entered the store. Seeing so many clothes in one place made me feel so excited. I had an amazing shopping experience, it was something I never felt before. There were so many brands and my sister helped me choose the brands she liked most, although I was not able to understand the brands very well. Now that we have such stores almost everywhere, shopping has become much easier. But, my first encounter with Pantaloons is something imprinted in my memory forever.
