Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life!

Four years at VIT Vellore and that became the turning point of my life. Starting back in 2014 at Vellore, the hot seat of the Chennai-Bengaluru zone, I was that guy, devoid of any ideas. I didn’t have the courage to stand up and speak out, having had a just normal 12th, full of competition and no outlook. Small enlightening from my father on the orientation day on “I haven’t failed, I have created 10000 ways that won’t work” lightened me up and the next four years were full of ideas. I went on to become one of the most well-known seniors, securing myself even as a guide for the cultural fest this year, although an alumnus!

In the very first semester of my Engineering, the very thought given by my father was improved further by my very dear friend, when he did that “Ek Idea Jo Badal De Aapki Duniya”. I wasn’t strong in memorizing information initially, but with the implementation of that idea, I went on to secure very good grades in my subjects! I saw my Engineering days pass by, with amazing structures built from UltraTech cement. My graduation placement journey went on, perhaps, in the best ever way, I expected, thanks to Pantaloons, the exclusive brand outlet, with the brands of likes Allen Solly, Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Peter England, who all helped me in making “That Complete Man”. Nevertheless, I also can’t deny the fact that BHIM-ABPB app made my digital transaction journey a lot easier.

Hailing from Odisha, I know how Hindalco Sambalpur, one of the most sophisticated rolling mills in the country, has developed the livelihood of people out there. In this world of hustle and bustle, I have learned that, as an individual, Sustainability is the road to the future. I admire Aditya Birla Group for this fact, has an active presence in 14 industry sectors and has achieved global and national leadership in several businesses. As an organization, you must not be myopic in your field. As my XIMB journey has been only a very few days, the very need for this Sustainability is being brought to reality. This is the greatest skill that I look forward to taking away from this new journey.

Aditya Birla Group has played its part in almost everyone's life on this planet. Thank You, ABG!

Leap out of your comfort zone!

“It is hard work to be the mother of many pigs."

Success is 99% hard work and 1% luck. My parents regularly speak this out to me. They well know my love for extracurricular activities. I would often bunk my classes for involving in such activities. Every time, I jumped in, I learned something new. I decide to take on the incoming challenges and face them with all my strength. I guess this is how I leaped out of my comfort zone. Every challenge I have overcome till now, it’s all because I have said to myself “Failures are pillars of success.”

I have left behind my habit of lagging behind, staying beyond boundaries. All that I knew was I got all hype for no good reasons. Starting from my Engineering days, I never crossed the limits of time. When you start wasting time, you’re doing no good but loss of energy with no outputs. I incorporated this habit of getting out of my soft cozy blanket, reaching target deadlines no matter how it happens. For everything that happens, there is always a sole cause. You may never know how to face it, but, if you’ve tied the threads in your heart, the arteries and veins of hard work, you know the circulation is really smooth to proceed further.

I worked as a digital marketing specialist, in Bengaluru. Knowing that the traffic situation was worse, and with no vehicle during my early days of work, I overcame the problem so easily that my managers used to set my example before others. Indeed, during the appraisal time, I was praised on one very particular fact, Punctuality. People often question my coolness, but that’s all because I know “With hard work, you can get the fire out of a stone.” Nothing’s impossible if you’ve worked your heart out!

Recognitions and achievements are somethings which you should never lure about, but, hard work. If you’ve tried your best, never think of failure. From all these lessons has emerged this human being who knows that “When hard work goes out of the door, poverty comes in at the window.”
