Part B
Coming from a family of Government officers, doctors, engineers, and politicians to excel in life was a huge challenge for me. Academically I was good but not the best. This thought always popped in my mind was I the right flag bearer of this family? Am I doing justice to the legacy of this family? So, after my graduation, I decided to go for a job. Working in my office from 9-6 was never satisfying for me as I wanted to do something else. One day I decided to go for higher studies. Preparing with the job was very hectic and tiresome. Waking up early at 6 AM traveling 30kms to reach the coaching institute and then at 9 AM reaching office and even doing shifts needed a hell lot of courage and I did that. Those 4 months of hectic life made me realize life was not a cakewalk. The legacy of my family was built from each drop of sweat of my elders. Now here at XIMB, I am ready to continue this legacy. My father always said “Life is not a bed of roses”, sure it is not. Life always makes you fall on your knees. The thing positive about it is you learn to get up and shine again. Life is not easy it is fun and a big learning curve. So, I hope every young and aspiring mind should learn this and not get disheartened and move on to a greener pasture. This is my story, the story of hardships yet fun.
